Automotive giant Ford has announced the official opening of its new global administration building, currently under advanced construction at 20901 Oakwood Blvd. in Dearborn, near Detroit.

Leaving behind its former headquarters, the Glass House, which it had occupied for nearly 70 years, this new head office—whose construction began in December 2020—will now be part of the MI Campus (MI for Michigan, to be renamed the Henry Ford II Centre). It will be in operation starting November 2025, with full completion scheduled for 2027.

Once completed, it will be twice the size of the Glass House it replaces. The latter is slated for eventual demolition.
