Japanese tire manufacturer Bridgestone introduced, at the very beginning of the year, a brand-new high-performance tire designed exclusively for summer use: the Potenza RE-71RZ Extreme Summer Tire. Engineered for extreme driving conditions, it succeeds the Potenza RE-71RS while incorporating Bridgestone’s ENLITEN technology.

According to a Bridgestone report, the RE-71RZ proved to be 0.75 seconds faster than the RE-71RS on Japan’s Tsukuba Circuit, during testing conducted by professional racing drivers. The RE-71RZ also stands out with a redesigned tread pattern, featuring its main groove repositioned toward the inside.

Recognized by several racing organizations for amateur competition events, this tire will be available in 45 sizes.
