At the Tokyo Mobility Show (formerly the Tokyo Motor Show), Japanese giant Toyota unveiled the concept vehicle that is expected to preview the next generation of its immensely popular Corolla, a model that has been on the market since 1966.
While many observers doubt that the production version will closely resemble this prototype, Toyota representatives were careful not to reveal too many details, instead describing it as a preview of what may come. Naturally, the discussion included a variety of mechanical powertrain configurations, including gasoline, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric options.
