rivian-r2-commercialization-announced

One of the most recent American automakers to enter the market, Rivian, has finally announced the commercialization of its compact electric SUV, the R2. This new model is set to launch in the first half of 2026 and could have a significant impact on the segment.

It should be noted that a Rivian dealership will be opening shortly in Laval, where a Rivian-branded service centre is already in operation.

Pricing for the Rivian R2 has not yet been announced, but it is already known that the SUV will be offered in a rear-wheel-drive, single-motor base configuration, as well as with dual- and even tri-motor setups featuring all-wheel drive.
