Lexus Unveils Its New TZ SUV

Japanese automaker Toyota has just unveiled its latest six-passenger luxury SUV, the Lexus TZ. This large battery-electric vehicle features specifications similar to those of the Toyota Highlander EV and the Subaru Getaway.

The brand's first three-row SUV, the TZ will be offered exclusively with two electric motors producing a combined 402 horsepower and all-wheel drive.

Customers will have a choice between a standard 77 kWh battery pack and an optional 96 kWh battery pack, the latter providing an estimated range of about 480 km.

However, according to the automaker, the TZ will require about 35 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 percent using a 150 kW charger.

As a 2027 model, pricing will not be announced until next fall.
