Korean automaker Hyundai took advantage of the Seoul Mobility Show to unveil the new version of its hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle, the NEXO. This second generation is expected to offer a range of about 700 kilometers, while refueling would take only five minutes.

The vehicle would feature a new engine and battery system, making it more powerful than the previous generation. With an output of 254 horsepower, this new NEXO would accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 7.8 seconds.

Hyundai is well aware that the NEXO remains a limited-distribution model in North America. Nevertheless, the manufacturer aims to offer consumers more choice. It’s worth noting that the current NEXO is available in Canada at a price of $72,500.
