The Chevrolet brand of American automotive giant General Motors now offers an electric vehicle option for its police car fleet.

Indeed, while Chevrolet launched its patrol car lineup in 1955 with the 150 sedans and 210 station wagons (powered by a 265 ci V8 developing 205 hp!), it currently provides Tahoe PPV SUVs with a 5.3 L/355 hp gasoline V8 and similarly equipped Silverado PPV pickups. This year, the brand expands the lineup with a smaller police utility vehicle: the Blazer EV PPV. This electric model delivers a range of 478 km and a top speed of 210 km/h, and comes with a police-specific technical package including reinforced suspension, performance tuning, and an underbody protection plate.
