Martin Dépelteau Has Passed Away

It was with surprise that we learned of the recent passing of Martin Dépelteau, founder of Quebec-based MARTINS Industries, a major manufacturer of equipment and supplies for the tire sector.

Martin, who passed away while still in his early fifties, had managed in just a few years to build MARTINS Industries, starting in 2002 by acquiring several companies in the field.

According to the company's release, Martin had stepped away from day-to-day operations in recent years, entrusting MARTINS' leadership to an experienced management team to ensure the continuity of the Farnham-based company in Quebec's Eastern Townships.

The name MARTINS Industries is now known around the world.
