An Original Equipment Manufacturer and Two of Its Ontario Dealers Reach Key Agreements

Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, January 30, 2025 – Hangcha Forklift Canada (“Hangcha Canada” or “the Company”) has secured two high-value contracts with Mitchell Plastics and Woodbridge Pallet through its trusted dealer network, which includes 17 dealers and representation in every Canadian province. With a collective value of over $1.5 million, these contracts mark significant milestones in Hangcha Canada’s five-year history and underscore the company’s commitment to providing reliable material handling solutions for large-scale operations. Hangcha Canada’s dealer-led approach is central to its strategy of targeting key accounts and contributing to the broader global objectives of the Hangcha Group as its valued Canadian subsidiary.

In partnership with Integralift Sales & Services, Hangcha Canada has delivered 22 lithium-ion units to Mitchell Plastics, including 17 narrow-aisle pantograph reach trucks, three three-wheel electric forklifts, and two four-wheel cushion tire electric forklifts. Mitchell Plastics, a North American automotive parts manufacturer, placed its first order of this size for lithium-ion forklifts. These cutting-edge, low-maintenance units are designed to enhance efficiency in narrow aisles with their space-saving design.

Hangcha Canada also collaborated with Ri-Go Lift Truck to supply Woodbridge Pallet, a North American leader in newly manufactured and recycled pallets, with 10 high-voltage lithium battery forklifts. This marks the company’s first order of this size for high-voltage forklifts. These forklifts replace propane-powered models and feature advanced capabilities such as fast charging, three-shift operation, and IP67 protection, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor environments.

“Sustainability is at the core of our business—by offering eco-friendly pallet solutions, we help our customers reduce their environmental impact. Today, these high-voltage electric forklifts bring that same commitment to our own operations,” says Terence van Rooyen, Senior Buyer at Woodbridge Pallet. “[Traduction] Replacing propane-powered forklifts eliminates propane costs, reduces maintenance expenses, boosts productivity, aligns with our vision for cleaner, more efficient operations, and enhances employee well-being. Hangcha Canada and Ri-Go Lift Truck understood our vision and delivered the right solution.”

By eliminating intermediaries through a direct distribution model, Hangcha Canada provides a more flexible and responsive approach to working with dealers, who play a vital role in the success of these partnerships. The company’s dealer network offers essential services such as delivery, training, and ongoing account support. Through Hangcha Canada’s accessibility, equipment workshops, product innovation, and collaborative sales and marketing initiatives, the company strengthens its dealers’ positions as trusted partners. This enhances fleet management and service capabilities while building a reputation that fosters repeat business and long-term loyalty.

“These contracts showcase the hard work of our network, coming together to deliver real results. We are focusing on targeting larger, more complex accounts and evolving to meet the demands of our industries. Whether it’s automotive, warehousing, retail, food production, or cosmetics, we’ve demonstrated that we can deliver—regardless of the sector,” says John Sedlacek, National Sales Director at Hangcha Canada. “As an original equipment manufacturer, we have factory support directly in Canada, which many manufacturers do not offer. With readily available equipment and parts, we have built a foundation that drives everyone involved.”

As Mitchell Plastics and Woodbridge Pallet integrate their new equipment into their operations, Hangcha Canada plans to conduct follow-up case studies to measure results and performance. These contracts represent a crucial step in Hangcha Canada’s growth, demonstrating its ability to meet the evolving demands of key industries across the country.
