American automotive giant General Motors is about to ask its dealers to adopt an entirely new design concept for their facilities. In other words, GM dealers will need to overhaul the overall look of their showrooms. This is the first time in two decades that GM has made such a request to its dealerships.

The new design will feature updated architecture with more glass walls, inviting furniture, modular displays, and digital integration aimed at encouraging customers to visit. Notably, the Cadillac brand will be given greater prominence. For now, the recommendations are directed at U.S. dealers, but, as has happened in the past, Canadian dealerships are expected to follow these directives in the future.
