Japanese tire manufacturer Bridgestone has announced major changes in its global leadership. Effective January 1, 2026, Yasuhiro Morita will assume the role of global President and CEO, succeeding Shuichi Ishibashi.

This decision reflects the company’s commitment to supporting substantial growth as it approaches its 100th anniversary in 2031. Mr. Ishibashi has successfully completed the objectives assigned to him and will retire on December 31. He is also expected to resign from the board of directors during the next shareholders’ meeting, scheduled for March.
