It has already been a few years since American automaker Ford brought the Bronco name back to market, both in its off-road form and in the shape of the smaller Bronco Sport SUV.
Ford recently marked the 60th anniversary of the launch of the original version, unveiled on August 11, 1965, when the vehicle was dubbed “the first four-wheel-drive sports car,” a description that at the time referred to a kind of Mustang built for off-road excursions.
To recapture that idea of a sporty off-road vehicle, Ford tasked its designers with creating the Roadster Concept, with the goal of restoring the Bronco's sporty character.
To achieve that, the designers simplified the vehicle, both inside and out, to bring it closer in spirit to the original Bronco.
The question now is this: does Ford intend to put this kind of Bronco into production?
