Open Road is a Vancouver-based company that operates about 25 automotive dealerships and seven collision centres in the Pacific Coast metropolis. In 2021, the company acquired two dealerships in Brampton, Ontario, and two more in London in 2024.
This time, Open Road Auto has announced that it has purchased most of NewRoads Automotive Group, also located in Ontario, which includes eight dealerships in the Greater Toronto Area. With this transaction, the company is tripling its operations in Canada and now holds 37 franchises nationwide.
New automakers have joined the group’s portfolio, including General Motors of Canada and Stellantis, alongside well-known brands such as Toyota, Mazda, Honda, and Subaru.
