The battle continues to intensify in the compact SUV segment, as South Korean automaker Kia has just unveiled its all-new, redesigned second-generation 2027 Seltos.
In addition to offering a more spacious interior, the Seltos is equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine producing 177 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque in the base version, or 190 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque in the higher-performance variant. As an option, this vehicle—available in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive—can also be fitted with a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine delivering 146 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. A hybrid version is expected to follow at a later date.
