Lincoln dealers want a sedan

According to the Ford Authority website, the Lincoln Dealer Council, which represents the brand's U.S. dealers, is urging Ford to resume production of Lincoln sedans.

Since the discontinuation of the MKZ and Continental, Lincoln has only offered SUVs and crossovers. However, reports from the Lincoln Dealer Council indicate that demand for a luxury Lincoln sedan is on the rise.

Notably, Lincoln does not seem to be following the current trend of its rival Cadillac, which is focusing on fully electric models. However, Lincoln’s Chinese division already offers a technologically advanced midsize sedan, the Lincoln Zephyr, a model with a refined design aimed at a younger clientele.
