Subaru Canada has just announced the appointment of its new president, Yoichi Hori. He will succeed current president and CEO Tomohiro Kubota, who oversaw Subaru's approximately 96 dealerships across the country from the brand's headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario. He had held the role for three years and four months.

Yoichi Hori will continue to serve as General Manager of Subaru Corp. and President and CEO of Subaru of America Inc., positions he has held since 2025.

Previously, he served as General Manager of Subaru's strategy office in Japan, where he notably helped advance the company's electrification efforts.

Hori began his career with Subaru in 1996 as an engineer. He also has mechanical experience and enjoys taking part in rallies and track events.
