New Directors Appointed at Bridgestone

New Directors Appointed at Bridgestone

Japanese manufacturer Bridgestone has just announced the appointment of new directors, including two in North America: Robert Johnson, who becomes Group President for North America, and Wade Sempkowski, Chief Financial Officer for the West. Sempkowski is therefore succeeding Robert Johnson in that role.

Meanwhile, Scott Damon will remain in his current role as CEO for the West, as Bridgestone has decided to separate the roles of West CEO and Group President.

Both appointments took effect on May 1, 2026.

Let us also remember that Bridgestone has set a goal of becoming the world's largest tire manufacturer by 2031, the year of the 100th anniversary of its founding.
