The Ram TRX is back

Not too long ago, Stellantis' Ram Truck division had decided to end production of its high-performance V8 HEMI engine, replacing it with the Hurricane inline-six twin-turbo engine.

However, the situation at Stellantis has since changed significantly, prompting former Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis to return to the helm. His first move? Relaunch the V8 HEMI engines with great fanfare, notably by resuming production of the high-performance TRX pickup under the SRT performance brand. Naturally, this truck will be powered by the renowned supercharged 6.2-litre V8 HEMI engine, developing no less than 702 horsepower. Production of this truck is expected to begin as early as January 2026.
