The last cadillac XT4 has been sold

As announced a few months ago, General Motors' Cadillac division has ended production of its compact XT4 SUV at its Fairfax plant in Kansas. The final unit of this model was assembled last January but was only sold in April by a dealership in Sarnia, Ontario. It is quite likely that the buyer of this SUV is unaware they now own the very last Cadillac XT4 ever made.

That said, several XT4s are still available at various Cadillac dealerships. Introduced in 2019, this small utility vehicle saw no major updates aside from some refreshes in 2024. Its successor is expected to be the fully electric Cadillac Optiq. Meanwhile, the Fairfax plant—which also produced the now-discontinued Chevrolet Malibu—is set to begin production of the next generation of the all-electric Chevrolet Bolt.
