The Polestar 3 has made history by setting a Guinness World Record: the longest distance ever driven by an electric SUV on a single charge, reaching 935 km. Achieved with the new Long range Single motor version, the feat lasted nearly 23 hours and demonstrated an impressive energy efficiency of 12.1 kWh/100 km.

Professional drivers Sam Clarke, Kevin Booker, and Richard Parker rotated every three hours, facing varied weather conditions, to push the vehicle to its limits. The Polestar 3 even surpassed its official WLTP range of 706 km, managing an additional 12.8 km after showing 0% battery.

“We are very proud to announce that we have a world record holder in the Polestar family!” said Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar, emphasizing that this success confirms the brand’s technological leadership.

The achievement was certified by Guinness World Records, with support from Webfleet and the AA.
