It’s Not Over for VinFast

its-not-over-for-vinfast

If you think the end is near for Vietnamese automaker VinFast, think again! Admittedly, VinFast has faced more difficulties than expected during its launch in North America, especially since U.S. President Donald Trump ended subsidies for electric vehicles. However, the Asian manufacturer hasn’t thrown in the towel.

On the contrary, VinFast is currently reorganizing its operations around three distinct brands: VinFast (the VF models, including the VF8 and VF9), Green (with the Herio Green and Minio Green, primarily intended for fleet use), and now Lac Hong.

The latter will focus on the production of high-end vehicles. Recently, VinFast unveiled several new products under this banner, including the Lac Hong 800 S and 900 S, two models based on the VF9 crossover utility vehicle.

These vehicles are expected to eventually reach the market, although it’s still uncertain whether they’ll be exported outside Vietnam.
