Toyota just unveiled its new generation of the compact RAV4 SUV, now available exclusively with hybrid-electric powertrains. However, this setup comes in two formats: standard hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV).

Furthermore, the all-new RAV4 is offered in three distinct exterior trims: the base LE, XLE, or Limited; the Rugged Design, which includes the all-wheel-drive Woodland version (available as hybrid or PHEV, with a TRD version anticipated); and the Sport Design, composed of the new SE, XSE, and GR Sport trims. The latter is only available with the PHEV configuration.
