Nissan adds a Nismo version to its Armada

Believe it or not, Japanese automaker Nissan has just announced they will add a high-performance Nismo (NISsan MOtorsport) version to their recently updated full-size Armada SUV, starting next fall.
The Nismo trim was previously reserved for sporty versions of certain Nissan models like the GT-R, Z, Sentra, and Juke. However, the Armada Nismo will benefit from an additional 35 horsepower from its 3.5-litre turbocharged V6 engine, a revised suspension, and graphic touches unique to the Nismo line. The Frontier pickup will also receive this treatment in its off-road variant. The Armada Nismo will feature a sportier exhaust, but Nissan did confirm that the SUV will retain its towing capacity of up to 8,500 pounds.
