Mercedes-Benz Canada Has a New President: Susann Mayhead

As of May 1, 2026, Ms. Susann Mayhead has taken over the leadership of Mercedes-Benz Canada. She succeeds Andreas Tetzloff, who chose to leave the organization after more than 30 years of loyal service with the German automaker.

Ms. Mayhead began her career with Mercedes in 2000 in Daimler Financial Services. In 2001, she was promoted to the position of Chief Administrative Officer and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, before joining Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG.

In her new role in Canada, she will lead some 250 employees across the country, along with a network of 57 authorized dealerships representing the Mercedes-Benz, AMG, Maybach and Vans brands.
