Montreal (Quebec), April 22, 2025 – HGrégoire is relaunching its "Buy a Car, Plant a Tree" campaign for a ninth consecutive year, in partnership with Tree Canada. For one month, the company will plant one tree for every car sold across the entire HGrégoire network.

Last year, 2072 trees were planted through this initiative, bringing the total number of trees planted in Quebec to more than 8500 since the beginning of the program. The trees from the latest campaign were planted in Pointe-au-Père, in the Rimouski region. Larches were chosen for the protected peatlands, an action aimed at preserving the carbon-rich soils and slowing the degradation of this fragile ecosystem.

"This initiative has become a tradition at HGrégoire, but also a reminder that every action counts when it comes to protecting our planet," said Harry Kasparian, Vice President of Marketing at HGrégoire. To further increase the campaign’s impact this year, trees will also be given directly to customers who wish to plant one at home.
