German automaker Audi is facing new challenges, including declining sales and the imposition of new U.S. tariffs. As a result, the company is required to reassess certain strategic directions and has decided to replace several members of its leadership team, including the head of its North American division.
Accordingly, Vito Paladino, current President of Audi Canada and President and CEO of Groupe Volkswagen Canada, will assume the roles of President of Audi of America and Director of Audi North America effective April 1. He’ll succeed Daniel Weissland, who will in turn become President of FAW Audi Sales Company China. Weissland has also previously served as President and CEO of Groupe Volkswagen Canada.
