SALE OF UNI-SELECT: QUÉBEC SUPERIOR COURT APPROVES PLAN OF ARRANGEMENT
On May 4, Uni-Select announced that the Superior Court of Quebec had issued a final order approving the plan of arrangement for the sale of the company to LKQ Corporation. This announcement comes one week after a special meeting of Uni-Select shareholders was held. Nearly 99% of those entitled to vote, either present in person or represented by proxy, were in favor of the plan.
The plan of arrangement remains subject to certain closing conditions. The transaction is expected to be finalized in the second half of 2023, assuming all necessary approvals are obtained and all other closing conditions are satisfied or waived.
