MICKAEL LENOIR, THE IRRESISTIBLE APPEAL OF FIRST CLASS
(Article published in L’Automobile magazine, June 2023)
By Raynald Bouchard
Mickael Lenoir finds it hard to hide the pride he’s taken in his 11 years with GLOBOCAM, whose specialty is selling and, above all, servicing heavy-duty trucks at seven facilities across Québec. The Anjou facility is the largest, with a 20,000 sq. ft. super body shop to match the size of the vehicles it handles.
First-Class Painter: More Than a Credential
Of course, the satisfaction of a job well done is not reserved for those who carry out vehicle repair and maintenance work. But in bodywork, and particularly in painting, this satisfaction reaches a higher level, especially when you’ve passed the Comité paritaire de l’industrie des services automobiles (CPA) exam leading to this classification obtained by just 13% of graduates. Mickael Lenoir comments on obtaining this classification:
It does have an impact on salaries, which are a little higher, but it’s more a question of recognition, by one’s peers and by the industry, which opens doors both here and internationally. The fact that I became a team leader despite my young age is a good illustration of this. In the same way, other opportunities may arise, such as the training I could give to new employees, as well as offers that might interest me, eventually, once I’ve had a look around the garden at GLOBOCAM . . . aircraft manufacturing, for instance.
