The Automotive Industries Association of Canada’s Annual Gathering in Quebec, the Grand Forum du Québec, will be held this year at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Trois-Rivières Conference Centre from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Come network and discuss hot topics to start the year off right.
The day will be held under the theme of: Attracting, recruiting and retaining employees. Several topics will be discussed such as workforce challenges, the immigration processes for foreign workers as well as progress on government files related to Bill 29.

Réjean Lortie, Grand Forum du Québec’s Master of Ceremonies and Panel Moderator
Réjean Lortie has more than 40 years of experience in the automotive sector. Several of those years were spent in senior executive roles. During his career, he has worked in several areas, including the management and motivation of sales teams, management and customer loyalty as well as supporting mechanical workshops in the optimization of administrative operations and maximizing profitability.
Karim Mouldi, President, Canari International Recruitment
Karim Mouldi, President of Canari International Recruitment, is a certified Canadian immigration consultant. He has over 20 years of experience in immigration and recruitment. He specializes in the identification, evaluation and recruitment of international skilled workers in various sectors of activity (automotive workshops, hotels, day labourers).
Philippe Bussières, Senior Training Advisor at the CPCPA
Mr. Bussière had a career as an automotive and heavy road vehicle technician for 12 years. He turned to the world of private training to leverage and share with passion the experience he gained. Over the course of nine years, he has contributed to both automotive mechanics and management of local businesses. For just over two years, he has been in charge of the CPCPA’s training team for all skilled trades in the industry, as a Senior Training Advisor. In this role, he is also responsible for projects in continuing education, such as the provincial EV Skills (electric vehicle) training program.
Mario Comtois, Business Development Director, Guru
Creative and passionate manager with over 25 years of experience in sales development, major account management, marketing, operations and management. He has a wide range of knowledge and experience that allows him to contribute greatly to the success of a company. Guru since 2022, I advise store and workshop networks to increase their profitability.
Antoine Janisse, Training & Account Manager, Del Vasto Group
Antoine has been working in the automotive industry since 1982, accumulating 20 years of experience as a business consultant, both in shops and in the wholesale sector. Since 2006, he has been representing Vast Auto-Distribution as a consultant, trainer and account manager. He plays a pivotal role in the development of the automotive industry by participating as a consultant in various roundtables and being a regular participant in many industry activities, such as AIA Canada’s Grand Forum du Québec.
As a trainer, his goal is to ensure success for both companies and individuals!
Workplace coaching aims to help employees take advantage of their full potential, whether they are managers, technicians, counter workers in a repair shop or wholesaler. They are all driven by the desire to improve and continue to train regularly.
David Boudeweel-Lefebvre, President, Boudeweel Public Affairs
David is a government affairs and public affairs specialist. He founded Boudeweel Public Affairs in the fall of 2020. David has over 20 years of experience in politics, government affairs, lobbying, coalition building, business development and communications. His knowledge of Quebec society and of power relations is unparalleled. He also has a deep understanding of the federal and municipal levels.
Before founding his firm, he was Vice-President, Federal and Quebec Government Affairs at Restaurants Canada. He has held executive positions in the energy sector, in non-profit organizations and in various political positions.
David has been working with AIA Canada since January 2021 and has spearheaded the association’s right to repair and labour files.
