FORD F-SUPER DUTY GETS NEW BODYWORK
By Éric Descarries
Ford of Canada chose the first week of October for the media presentation of its all-new F-Series Super Duty trucks, with the event taking place in the Trois-Rivières region of Québec.
The major manufacturer presented several F-250 models with four-door cabs in a range of finishes, from basic XL to luxury Limited. It’s worth noting that the F-250s all feature a brand-new aluminum body (despite its strong resemblance to last year’s model), with no parts that can be substituted for those of previous years. At the same time, the grille may differ from one version to another.
Ford has included a number of new technologies in these new pickups, some of which help calculate bed loads or guide the vehicle when attached to a trailer. By the way, the huge rear lights on the new pickups help make this task easier, but replacing them (if necessary) now requires a visit to the dealer, given their great complexity. Not to mention the price.
