BUICK REVISES ITS ENCLAVE VUM
By Éric Descarries
Just when you thought the American automobile was losing popularity, the legendary American brand Buick returns to the news with a range of CUVs, each more interesting than the last. Starting with the smallest Encore, followed by the all-new Envista, then the midsize Envision (made in China) and ending with the most imposing, the completely redesigned Enclave. The Enclave’s front-end design is in line with Buick’s latest approach, revealed in the Wildcat prototype, seen last year at the Montréal Auto Show. The 2025 Enclave is longer, wider and taller than the model it will replace.
The only powertrain offered by Buick in the new Enclave is a 328-hp, 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive.
We won’t know more about the all-electric Buick to be marketed under the Electra name until later.
