A SECOND CONFERENCE FOCUSED ON GROWTH FOR SIMPLICITY CAR CARE
(Article published in L’Automobile Collision magazine, October 2023)

Shortly before autumn dawned, Simplicity Car Care welcomed its employees, customers, suppliers and partners to its second annual conference, in the enchanting setting of the Niagara Falls region.
“An incredible event,” said Simplicity President Domenic Ieraci. Under the theme of growth, the conference covered this issue from a number of angles, not just limited to the company itself. To develop a successful franchise, you need to think outside the triangle, to use the words of the leader, and that’s exactly what the Simplifiers in attendance were treated to during the three-day gathering.
The Many Faces of Growth
“We covered a wide range of topics,” explains Ieraci, “from developing corporate culture with a presentation by Dan Cockerell, the former Vice President of Disney Magic Kingdom, to talent recruitment, to collision centre efficiency.” Sharon Romalho, former Director of Human Resources at McDonald’s, discussed the topic of finding and retaining employees, as well as the best practices to implement to achieve profitability in a collision centre. Thomas Le Maguer, Managing Director of Republix, a company specializing in marketing and branding, discussed the importance of implementing a branding strategy, which directly impacts profitability.
But a company’s success depends to a large extent on the people within and around it, who must also grow: franchisees, their employees, as well as the community in which they have chosen to establish their business. This social awareness, at the heart of Simplicity Car Care’s development strategy, is reflected in their management of major events. “For a second year, we have successfully neutralized all carbon emissions generated during our Conference to make this a ‘climate positive’ gathering,” says Mr. Ieraci proudly. “We are the first collision centre franchise in North America to have accomplished this feat.”
Creating Value
Unlike last year, Simplicity Auto Care’s 2023 Growth Conference is more business-oriented: “We focused our attention on creating value. We wanted to offer ways to improve not only franchise profitability, but also the life quality of our Simplifiers. We were determined to provide them with simple, concrete solutions that they can implement immediately to increase their profitability, both in terms of hiring staff and in their marketing strategy.”
A successful conference in perfect alignment with Simplicity’s vision of “making car servicing simple and affordable for all vehicle owners worldwide.”
