A NATIONAL ELECTRIC VEHICLE SERVICE AND REPAIR NETWORK FOR UAP
UAP continues to pursue its goal of establishing a national network for the maintenance and repair of electric and hybrid vehicles in order to offer owners of these vehicles a reliable and affordable alternative to their original dealer.
“Our biggest success last year was getting the workshops training program up and running not only in Québec, but also in Ontario and British Columbia. The response was instantaneous, which confirms that NAPA’s EV-certified training is meeting a market need,” says Yves Racette, director of program development for NAPA and NexDrive.
Racette, a Québec pioneer in electric vehicles, joined NAPA last year to develop the EV training and certification program behind the NexDrive banner.
During the year, UAP also set up a training and certification program for its stores that supply parts for electric and hybrid vehicles. By the end of the year, about 150 NAPA Auto Parts stores are expected to be NAPA EV-Certified, allowing them to service shops that provide EV maintenance and repair services.
More news about training and network development will support the services offered, so keep up with the changes!
