Collision Industry INFLUENCER CAROLINE LACASSE, TEACHER AND TRAINER
By Raynald Bouchard
The Recognition Evening for the Collision Industry in Quebec, to be held on March 29, will highlight four individuals whose careers have positively influenced the industry. Here is the portrait of our second honoree.
At the beginning of her career as a teacher at the DEP in collision repair, Caroline Lacasse had the opportunity to give I-CAR courses related to automotive electronics. Then, she became an instructor and coach for trainers, still at I-CAR. Finally, before joining the Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF), which she directed for three years, she was the training coordinator at the CSMO-Auto de Longueuil.
She holds a doctorate in work and organizational psychology from the Université de Montréal. This ultimate education served as a springboard to found Upsylon, which she returned to after leaving the CCIF. Her goal is to help companies face the problems associated with labour scarcity, technological transformations, training needs and even the impact of climate change.
